Leather is a material used in products such as clothing, belts, shoes and seats. The material is made from the raw hides (skins) of animals that has gone through a harsh process of chemicals to prevent them from rotting or decomposing. Leather can be made from the skin of sheep, crocodiles and rabbits but is most commonly made from cattle and calves.
